A Maui Bed and Breakfast Retreat
The 3 bed room plantation house (which can be configured as a 2, 3 or 4 bed room house) has a spacious living room area, commercial type kitchen, dining room, and large enclosed porch. There is a stand alone handicap accessible full bath in the plantation house. In addition the 2 bed room, 2 bath Sue's Cottage is fully handicap accessible.
The 700 sq. ft. yoga and meditation studio, ideal for groups and retreats, is fully equipped with yoga props, a sophisticated audio/ video system and a handicap accessible bath.

The Banyan Tree House Retreat is a half hour drive from Kahului airport. We are 7 miles from Maui's North Shore beaches. We are located at the 1,500 ft. elevation on the slopes of 10,000 ft. Haleakala Mountain, a spectacular one hour drive to the top of Haleakala. Stretching from Haiku through Makawao and Pukalani to Kula, Maui's upcountry is a unique blend of old time Hawaii with pineapple fields, sprawling cattle ranches, breath taking ocean and island views.
The Banyan Bed & Breakfast Retreat has an ideal central island location for touring Maui. A half mile from the Banyan Tree House is the historic cowboy town and favorite local hangout of Makawao. Shops, restaurants, art galleries, food and health stores, spas, library and more can all be found in this friendly little town. 7 miles down the hillside from the Banyan B&B is the historic sugar town of Paia. Internationally known for surfing and windsurfing, Paia town is central to Ho'okipa, Spreklesville and Baldwin beaches.
Haleakala National Park is an hour's drive up the mountain from our B&B. A fantastic place to go for a day of hiking or even just to watch the widely acclaimed sunrises and sunsets!
The road to Hana (a 2 to 2.5 hour drive) is a truly unique and unforgettable tropical experience. The picturesque winding road is dotted with many waterfalls, spectacular ocean vistas and rich jungle flora. Another half hour past Hana is the Kipahulu Haleakala National Park entrance with many hiking trails.
